Soft skills development gap

There is loads of free stuff that you can be downloaded immediately.  Grab free quick guides and cheat sheets. Why not start with the 10 step personal development plan. You can use a self coaching workbook or you can complete a full course online with videos, exercises, resources and a private facebook members group plus help and advice on how to get the most out of each course. I am delighted to tell you that the first online course is available from 14th September. If you need it NOW email:  bridget@whatdoesamanagerdo.com. and I’ll see if I can get it to you early.

I don’t want to tie you in to a never ending subscription so each course is priced individually. There are helpful instalment plans to help you budget and you have lifetime access to the course so you can revisit anything you want at any time when you want a refresher of your skills* terms and conditions apply.

Pop over to the online course section, or the free resources. If you are a new manager or about to become one why not grab a copy of The Management Jigsaw to take you through the first steps to success.

It’s a challenge getting help and support when you need it. You need it now but your course isn’t running for another couple of months. When developing soft skills timing is crucial.  Your technical skills need to be excellent but they alone won’t be enough. You must develop your soft skills. They are essential to success. The more senior you become the more important they are.  Without strong communication and time management skills, to name just two, life can be challenging.

Finding someone who can deliver you a quality solution is tricky and you must to be confident that the help and support you are buying is worth spending time on and when time at work is pressed that time is quite often ours.
